Valentina ha iniziato il make-up con una skin care accurata, idratando molto la pelle, con l’intento di valorizzare la pelle matura anzichè coprirla. Per ottenere un effetto idratante e velato ha sostituito il fondotinta con una crema colorata, l’Hydrachange Tinted Gel Cream di Sensai, in modo da esaltare l’autenticità della pelle. Sugli occhi sono stati utilizzati dei colori neutri e due ombretti leggermente iridescenti nei toni del grigio tortora e del grigio chiaro, tratti dalla palette Naked 2 di Urban Decay. L’intento era quello di accentuare la profondità dell’occhio. E’ stato poi applicato un leggero tocco di eye-liner, alla base delle ciglia, solo per uniformare la rima, insieme al Mascara di Sensai 38°C nero solo per dare più intensità alle ciglia. Le sopracciglia invece sono state leggermente disegnate con l’Eye Brow di Mac senza definirne il tratto bensì lasciando inalterato il loro aspetto naturale. Sulle guance è stato applicato il blush naturale di Sensai e il rossetto rosso di Sensai Vibrant Cream Color, dal tono deciso, per mettere il carattere del trucco sulle labbra.
Valentina started off the make-up with a punctilius skin care and as a result by hydrating the skin very much, since the goal was not to cover the mature skin, rather, to emphasize it and make it stand out at its best. To preserve the genuineness of the skin Valentina decided to replace the foundation with Sensai Hydrachange Tinted Gel Cream. The result was a very natural and veiled effect instead of a covering one. To give the eyes depth, she applied natural colors and two slightly iridescent grey eye shadows from Urban Decay Naked 2 palette to eyelids in addition to a shred of eye-liner just to make uniform the eye rim. Valentina applied Sensai black Mascara 38°C to eyelashes and re-drew the eyebrows with light strokes of Mac Brow Shader in order to obtain a very natural effect. As for the cheekbones, she availed herself of a natural color Sensai blush, likewise she applied bright red lipstick Sensai Vibrant Cream Color on lips. The purpose of it was to highlight the vivid red and consequently make people focus their attention on lips.
